Sports ground construction: synthetic grass pitches for GAA and soccer, pitch drainage, fencing and ball-stop netting, floodlights, and the groundworks and civil engineering underneath. Full-size pitches, training areas and multi-sport facilities, designed and installed as one contract.
Clearwater is the supplier for a club whose project is the playing surface itself rather than a piece of it. Because the drainage, the surface, the fencing and the lighting come from one contractor, the elements a grant application has to price separately still get built as a single job. They have been at it since 2005 and have put pitches into schools in ten counties.

St Kieran's College, Kilkenny, 2026
A full-size synthetic grass GAA pitch alongside a new full-size natural grass pitch, with sports fencing, ball-stop netting and walking tracks. The synthetic pitch is complete and the natural grass pitches are under way.
A project of over 1.6 million euro
Both surfaces, the drainage under them, the fencing, the netting and the tracks, from one contractor. A worked example of stacking several funders across a single project.
Funded through the college trustees, a past-pupil family donation, Kilkenny County Board and Croke Park.
